Yep, I’m an unabashed Christmas nerd. I make no apologies. Heck, I decorate the inside and outside of my house the weekend after Thanksgiving! Perhaps it was all those years of living in Fairbanks, Alaska, but when it was dark and cold outside (and Fairbanks is nothing, if not DARK in the winter time) I needed those lights and decorations to put me in the holiday mood. Ever since I was a kid I loved this whole spirit of the season thing, the lights, the decorations, the carols, how everyone was just a bit nicer, sending/receiving Christmas cards (some of us still do that) and oh yeah, presents.
So when I discovered the folks over at Never Enough Lights and I saw what they’ve been doing for years with their outside lighting and musical displays I was totally amazed, and a little voice inside my head said…”You could do that…you’d love to do that…oh wait, though…you’re way too f’ing lazy to even try it so just watch the darn videos and enjoy the fact that someones taking the time to do it.” So that’s what I do each and every year, and this year, I decided to share some of my favorite clips with you all. Enjoy!
August Burns Red – Carol Of The Bells
Perry Como – Frosty The Snowman
